The Summer Heat!

In the middle of winter, there was in me, an invincible summer.

It's been a while since I last saw how the colors of the sea and the sky jive together to make a breath-taking view. Last weekend, I've been to Bataan with some of my friends to hit the beach. But to tell you honestly, the beach was the one who hit us because of it's magnificent beauty.

To prolong the excitement, I would be posting random pictures during our first day in Bataan. This is quite a heavy blog post. :)

Pink straw hat and Ray-Ban Aviator shades. :)

The very spacious and violet Long Champ and my ever-trusty cellphone. :)

One of my favorite rings! The owl ring. :)
Bracelets! :)
Fetish for pink nail polish.:)
During the first day, since the weather was not really that good, we weren't able to go to the beach. Instead, we stayed at a resort near my friend's house to kill time. We just took some pictures and videos ('cause we were planning to make a summer station ID haha! God bless our creative minds hahaha!), roamed around the place, and slept under the comfortable nipa huts.
Goofing around with Delfa. We were playing  Nicai and Jowee's swimsuits! HAHA!
With kulot buddy, Janella! :)

And one more time! :)

My favorite girls! :)

Jalfanix team! HAHA! We're so baduy! HAHA! :)

Janella, Nicai, Jowee and Delfa :)

Green floral dress
Brown studded  Gladiator sandals
Random colored bracelets

STOLEN. I look like a shit part 3. HAHAHA.
We were playing Mara Clara. HAHA! :) I don't know which role I was playing when this shot was captured.

Since it was really very cloudy, we decided to go back home at around 4pm. We were quite disappointed because of the weather, and our contact person told us that our trip to the beach scheduled the next day might be cancelled. Since God wanted us to make happy memories in Bataan, He commanded the sun to shine at its very best the next day! Yippe yippe yehey! HAHA! :)

This out-of-town trip was very out-of-plan. HAHA. We were only informed by our friend, Nicai, that this will push through two days before our departure. I wasn't even able to save money for the trip, thus, we were indeed in a very very tight budget. Imagine, going to Bataan for two days with only 800php at hand? Woah, that's really woah. Going to an out-of-town trip nowadays is very impossible given the said budget. But never underestimate the power of my girlfriends. We were able to enjoy this summer getaway without spending too much. I hope we could do this again! :)

Kindly check out for my next update. :) I'll be uploading photos from the amazing Bataan beach experience! :)

How's your summer? :)

Once a student, now a teacher.

The abstract dream of becoming a teacher is now a concrete reality. :)

Last Thursday, I received a text message from Ms. Nina, an HRD officer of School of Saint Anthony.

I was happy when I got this text. It would mean that I've passed the demonstration teaching, and logical, psychological and professionalism tests that were given to me, and thus, I would undergo the final step which is the final interview with the administrators. I was psyched, excited and thrilled! I don't know what to expect, but what I was sure of is that I'm almost there. :)

So this morning, I went to SSA for the final interview. I wasn't able to wake up on time because I watched BB. Pilipinas on TV last night. TBH, I wasn't really happy with the results of the pageant. I expected more from the candidates, and I do agree with the male judge who commented during the Q&A. He said that the candidates were making it difficult for the judges, not because they were all good, but because it was clearly visible that all of them are weak when it comes to answering questions. The questions were very well-constructed. I best believe that it deserves an equally well-thought answer. Anyway, enough of the rants regarding the event. I wish them luck, though.

Going back, after eating my breakfast, Papa dropped me off at SSA. T. Juvy and T. Joy, the principals from the Upper School and Middle School Department, and Ms. Tricia, daughter of Dr. Coralejo, were the panelists for my interview. They asked relevant questions that were really challenging. Good thing I was able to answer everything, straight to the point and without beating around the bush. God never fails to coach us especially when we are in need of words. :) Hihi. So after the interview, I went back to the HRD office to discuss the salary, the benefits, the requirements needed and the trainings and retreats to be attended before school officially starts on June. Afterwards, I signed the contract, and they handed me the Administrators and Faculty Manual, the counterpart of my students' manual. :)

Contract of Employment for PROBATIONARY Employees.
I never liked the term PROBATIONARY. :| HAHA.
Say HELLO to my SIGNATURE since KINDERGARTEN.
Nevertheless, I love its SIMPLICITY. :)

After months of not seeing these crazy yet awesome people, we've finally found the time to be with one another last night. These people, are my high school buddies. I owe to them who I am right now, for they never failed to show their love and support even though we already have our separate lives.

This post may be very melodramatic. Please bear with me. HAHA. I really missed them a lot, am I not that obvious? HAHA.

So there. As usual, one of TriNoma's prominent meeting places for barkada meet-ups is Timezone. I was late, and nothing's new with this. We were almost complete, except for Jelai, Owel, Domeng, MJ and Kenneth, who are always missing in action. HAHA. After watching them shoot some balls, (ano daaaw? hahaha) We finally decided to transfer at SM North and have dinner there. We went at Shakey's, and while waiting for the food to be served, lots of stories were shared with one another. Laughter here and there, jokes everywhere. It's really fun to be with people who know you very well. Nothing would ever beat the kind of friendship you share with your high school buddies. :)

With one of the this world's best listeners ever! Allysa Alvarez. :)

Vincent, Arlae, Anna and Rein :)

With Allou, Dido and BJ

And again!

Arlae's priceless smile :)

PIZZAAA :)

After eating a scrumptious dinner at Shakey's, we went to Padi's point to continue our ultimate bonding session. Since Danico, one of our friends who will be a full-pledged nurse SOON was not yet around, we decided to wait for him there, while having a little drinking session. We ordered Zombie and Pinacolada towers. Nomnom. :)

@Padi's point.

Feeling inferior with Allou's beauty! HAHA :)

Annahlot's looking very happy!

Em busy. HAHA :)

Reinhold, okay ka lang? :)

Cheers for... our own personal intentions. HAHAHA :)

I'm quite basag that night. > :D<

When vanity strikes. :)

I love you, guiiiisee! :*

Laughter, laughter, and wait, did I mention laughter? Yes. Laughter filled the open-space of Padi's. As the hours went through, I've realized how badly I missed these creatures. I'm really grateful for the gift of friendship with them. Through these friends of mine, I know I'll never undergo life's trials alone. :)

Right now, I'm really experiencing a roller-coaster ride of emotions. I don't exactly how I feel about certain things. I just hope soon enough, all things will be back to its proper place. What's important is that I'm still alive, and that would mean I still have the chance to get up even if life's just knocked me down.
